I believe that 7/8 of the women on our planet lose their authentic, soul-led selves.
We give away pieces of our light each time we choose to survive painful moments during 4 important role-changing moments of our life: childhood, career, parenthood, and romantic relationships.
And yet, we can choose to begin the homecoming journey at any time.
That journey bring us home to our True Self (aka your Love Legacy). Your Love Legacy is the unique imprint you make on hearts and minds through your presence, words, and deeds.
We disconnect from our Love Legacy along the human timeline when we dwell in the defense mechanisms protecting us from re-experiencing pain from our youth, marriage, career, and/or motherhood.
We can detach from those defense mechanisms when we are ready to truly commit to the homecoming journey.
“Being ready” is different for each person.
I had to hit my lowest low to begin my journey home to my heart.
I hid my True Self for the longest time. You see, my Love Legacy is a lover, a dancer, a social butterfly, a confidante, a healer, a globetrotter, and an enthusiast of life! I subconsciously packed all that away, however.
After I bought a house and met the “man of my dreams” I began to contract into a box of perfectionism and people-pleasing. My breakdown came after 10 years of masking my true nature due to marriage, career, and child-rearing. One morning, it suddenly felt like my kneecaps were swept out from underneath me energetically. I was overwhelmed and cried for days, feeling mentally and emotionally wiped out. I resurfaced after calling a trusted spiritual friend who didn’t let me go back into hiding.
After that dark night, it took years of studying spiritual psychology, transformational leadership, conscious reparenting, life coaching, and energy healing to truly unpack the pain that was blocking my heart. I found my authentic voice and now I support leaders who wish to do the same.
I will speak my truth, even if my voice shakes. Gray Panther and Humanitarian, Maggie Kuhn, said, “Stand before the people you fear and speak your mind – even if your voice shakes.”
I love who I am.
I use my voice.
I speak my truth.
I let my heart be known.
I release my tendency to give my power away to others.
I am Whole. I am Worthy. I am Divinely Wise.
Thank you, God, for guiding me home to my true self.
Thank you, Great Spirit, for helping me stand in my passion, my power, and my purpose.
Thank you, Universe, for helping me rediscover and embody self-love, self-trust, and self-choice.
I love who I am.
I will speak my truth even if my voice shakes.
